I have helped a few candidates hook up with Masons through the interest.
I have a 21 year old in Chicago, Illinois 60641 who wants to join the craft. I have used the GL web site to give him the address of a Lodge and he has called past it a few times - without luck.
Private message me if you can help because I have his name and phone number...
Thank Brothers

I'm sure they do, Bloke. I'm just not sure how many Chicago brothers we have on this site.
That's a good service you're doing, Bro. Thanks. _________________ Revelation will not come

The only guys I know from Chicago would be from the Blues Lodge, as opposed the Blue Lodge. Profane heathens, though they may be, the cats can play.
I'm no help, I'm afraid. _________________ Bob Addleman

Brother I would contact Brother Eric Diamond. He is a very active Mason in the Chicago area and would be in a postion to guide this man.

I have messaged ICHermes - but thought I would come back and give a report. Within the hour of Hermes post, Eric and my bloke (Ian) had spoken on the phone and will get together for dinner...
Now... who has a candidate for me in Melbourne ?

Thought I might update you…
The man in question tells me he has caught up with Eric and had dinner with the Brethren. He seems excited. He has his petition in his hands !

That's exactly who I would have recommended. I have visited this lodge a couple times and let me say that I think it's one of the best lodges in North America. What I like about them most is the fellowship outside of the lodge.
Unlike most lodges, to get the petition, it's going to take a while. They will want to get to know him well first. And then when the degrees are put on, they will be done very, very well. _________________ Hatrock, PM
